You ever met anyone from SideFX? They are great people that love this art. They are knowledgeable and passionate, always have been and they actually do care about their customers. I was getting ready to buy a license of what became Houdini core, the sales guy asked me if I would lose money if I didn't have the license asap, I said no and he told me to wait two weeks. I did and that's when Houdini Indie launched and I got more software for thousands less.. Autodesk would have taken my money and not given a fuck because they serve investors, not customers or end users.
