How do you make it as a financial advisor? How do you successfully pitch people to give you their money to manage and grow for them, especially when you’re starting out young? How do you create a successful business niche in financial advisory?

There’s a lot of people out there convinced that paying you 1% of their assets is a scam, how do you prove them wrong and deliver some value?

I’ve recently decided to go but I really don’t want to go, at all. I’ve spent the last 6 years working finance without a degree. Get to play with swaps all day, program whatever I want, make cool reports, have access to some very smart analysts to talk to. Except I’m still getting the fucking squeeze put on me by normies family and recruiters.

In the pit of my stomach it still feels really wrong though, so the ultimatum I’ve made myself is I will do my very best in my free time after work and attempt to get a transfer to an Ivy League for the last 2 years, which I’ve been told is impossible, and I will not settle for less. Any less and I will forget the degree, as it will cost me very little to do 2 years at a community college and transfer, and it’s only worth more than that if I can live the Patrick Bateman life.
