Ive been out the past few weeks caring for my grandpa in hospice, he's passed now (rip), I hope some stuff happens soon for better or for worse.

We're in Zone 5 and our soil finally is workable enough for us to actually plant our spring plants. this year we finally pulled the trigger on a drip system and I'm really looking forward to breaking it in. We have about an acre that we'd water with a garden hose and sprinkler which would waste a lot of water. We've started our tomatos, but cause its so cold where we are, they wont get in the ground for another month.

Everyone is talking about buying lambo's and booking cruises, I just want to use my GME gains to fund my life of self-suffiency. But a few more acres, plant an orchard. I spent the last few days out in the yard doing hard gardening work, but doing work you're excited to do for yourself is so much better then slaving 9-5 for some bozo.

Grief is the rainwater that fills the footprints people leave in our lives. Despite how painful it might be, its still a celebration of the love someone had on your life in order to leave these footprints. Even though it sucks, dance in the rain and soak it up. The rain of grief will stop eventually but those footprints will never leave, cherish them and do your best to leave your footprints in others.
