I’m a bit worried if that Mark Bristo shit ever boils over. Ceo of Barrick gold, apparently a big trophy hunter. There’s always some risk from that shit which makes me very skeptical of Buffett’s “diversification is for idiots” old speech.

This is a “value” investment argument, and those have failed and failed for a long time. You have to really know what you’re doing if you want to pick stocks to invest in on a value basis.

At $50 rtx was a steal, here it’s okay. The market often gives less certain investments higher yields. Everyone knows how good LMT is and so they’re happy paying up for it. No one can be sure about LMX now that they have so much revenue tied to the business cycle and the QUAGMIRE that is commercial air travel.

How much exposure do they have to private jets vs. big Boeing airliners? Have you done any FA on that?
