most backtests are done wrong. even hedge funds use to backtest their strategies wrong way, adjusting their indicators too much to past-price action. typically that is a sign the
indicator is not very strong. especially trend following systems with low win rate adjusting strategies to fit past prices is way to destruction. also you likely use way too much leverage
