I think the melt-up is broken. Anyone thinking that they're "buying an easy dip" right now is still drunk off the bullrun. We correct for a bit, then we resume in a month or two.

dividends or share price growth are both fine

the only drawback of dividends vs share price growth is that you have to pay taxes on dividends now, not when you sell; but if you have less money this disadvantage is negligible
if someone tells you "don't invest in dividend stocks unless you have ten millions of dollars" or some nonsense like that, you should ignore that person.
Focus on high quality earnings and earnings growth.
