yeah i did a straddle for fomc and got stopped out of both positions for a loss, i played it badly
made up 50% of the loss with calls, bought vix at close and now im close to 0 again

im considering another straddle into amazon earnings but the premiums and IV are so goddamned high its going to need meta-tier movement to be profitable
might sit this earnings out
