If the dollar ever collapses and we end up living in a post collapse society, how do we gauge the value of PMs? How will we know much silver food or supplies is worth? Are there historical examples anyone can share?

I've been thinking about counterfeit coins lately. Most are obvious fakes and either fail the magnet test or have the wrong specific gravity, but in theory a silver-plated 80-20 lead-zinc alloy passes both of those tests.

So naturally I want to play around with other at-home (nondestructive) tests. But to do that I need a high-quality fake, and all that I can find on AliExpress appear to be silver plated brass.

Anybody know of a place that actually sells "good" fake silver coins/rounds/bars, or is that quality of fake purely hypothetical?

Does anyone here know a got program to follow your stocks and created custom watchlists? I know Tradingview is the market leader, but i dont want to pay for their services. Im at a point, where i have so much on my watchlist, that its really tedious too look everything up individually. Most of the tickers are tiny small caps, so sadly a normal watchlist with my broker is somewhat useless as they dont have a lot of info on these companies ... Preferably a real program and not something you use in your browser.

If this is your first time buying silver don’t go all in at once, DCA in over a few months. Since premiums are really high at the moment I’d start small, but any silver is better than no silver.
