One of the best quotes I've heard since I've been on /biz/: "In the crypto world, the price is the news."

BAT/Brave can announce all the positive indicators they want. They can show you that it's a growing project with solid fundamentals and a strong team behind it. None of that matters in crypto. The only thing that matters is the price. That's literally it.

If BAT pumps to $1, we all know the plebs will start talking. That's why it has always been my opinion that a solid BAT pump would be extremely beneficial for the project. It would bring so many more users on board for their chance to make some BAT. I think Brave understands that and that's partly why the price stays artificially suppressed. Maybe they're not ready for the massive influx of users/attention a BAT pump would bring.

I could see that happening. A repeat of late 2017 where BAT has the most pathetic pump of all the shitcoins and then goes back to crabbing at 20 cents prices for the rest of eternity

meanwhile the Brave team chugs along at a snail's pace and slowly disassociates from BAT

Damn, yeah, in all honesty I think centralization (coupled with a "we're going to be rich" mindset from the big whales) is so much better/healthier for a cryptocurrency project than a "let's build and get users" mindset.

BAT has been a flop of an investment despite being a growing, interesting project

Ya pretty much

CZ bought so much BAT early on he has been dumping on the price ever since. He literally keeps it going sideways by extracting all of the buy pressure on BAT.

The browser though is based. Once you start using it you can feel a giant weight lift as your subconscious recognizes google spyware is not sending everything you do to a database anymore.

Plus Brendan Eich is one of the most black pilled people in Crypto. He knows what the technocracy is up to, check his twitter feed sometime.

I've definitely noticed tension between the Brave team and Coinbase, on the BAT plebbit.

doesn't surprise me one bit since Brian Armstrong is a stupid fucking cuckold.

Can confirm from Private DM's on twitter with him. He is aware of Bill Gates and is on our side.

>should be an option to change the ad.

Agreed. I don't really like how a few of these companies are deciding to go with "gigantic picture of someone's face" as their ads on the new tab screen. If I were to use Brave in public I wouldn't want to open a tab and have everyone see a picture of a little girl on my computer screen.

Yup. This link: https://brave.com/transparency/

Has the number of "Brave Ad" campaigns in every country in the world. Basically, the more ad campaigns your country has, the more Brave Ads you're going to get (and potentially the more BAT you will earn).

I think the amount of BAT you earn per Ad depends on what country you're in. For example someone in India might make less per Ad shown than someone in the USA (for obvious reasons). That being said, there are more and more Brave Ad campaigns being run in Europe I think (numbers on transparency page constantly going up each month)

Anon, I'm a colossal BATfag, and I'm seriously worried we're a dying token. Even if Brave continues to grow, BAT just continues to die. Its price is largely reflective of how much people give a shit about the token, whether the team cares to admit it or not.

I believe in Brendan Eich, but it seems as if he's shifted a large portion of the BAT project over to Luke Mulks who seems like a swell guy but incapable of running a project as big as BAT. Things are looking grim.

no news. We're going to 18 cents mid february and then languishing in the low 20 cents period for the rest of eternity. Sell now.
