This is false. AQB is only getting started. The proof-of-concept Indiana farm, which has already produced harvests currently produces 1,200 metric tons per year. This is just the beginning. Farm 3, for which construction will begin in the first half of this year, alone will produce 10,000 metric tons per year once it is operational. This is only the beginning. AquaBounty will continue building farms throughout the US and around the world. AquaBounty will be unstoppable.

AquaBounty is a good long-term hold. If all goes according to plan, they should have quite a few new farms set up over the next few years. In 10 years, land-based animal consumption may very well be a thing of the past.

AquaBounty is destined to take over the global salmon market. If we post it enough, if we really believe it, it will become true. Look at this map. In 2050 the majority of protein consumption will be derived from seafood and AquaAdvantage salmon will be the key component of the global food supply. AquaBounty will solve the greatest problems facing mankind: climate change, hunger, overpopulation. The solution is simple: a better fish and a better way to raise it.
