Based and wholesome, good things come to good people. What were the treasures you bought that gave her the opportunity to gift the nickel? Ever score anything really awesome at that shop?

>you only paid $294 for it?!
$293.67 with shipping and tax, not insignificant but for an artifact like this it was a goddamn steal. Luv my cheapies regardless of composition.

>Lol, lmao even

Based scrapchads win again as always. I love when anons can't help outing themselves as smug plebwits, it makes the job of filtering out and ignoring all of their uninspired dumbfuck opinions much easier. Anyway how much did that $20 chonker weigh, over 2kg? Did you turn it into home-pours or were you planning on restoring and selling that rare piece to a collector for a fat premium? I also want the story behind your superb $75 coin/token score with the 1788 gold 1/2 escudo, flipping just that 1 Civil War era Kittredge military goods token could pay for everything. Imagine ever being among the cucks squabbling about premiums when scores like those are available to people who aren't retards, keep it up anon.

>It is a backup if I get burglared, instead of having a bullion in my belt or a credit card up my ass.

Muggers will yank off chains they see people wearing, so if you can't hide them under your shirt collar you might also consider anklets or ankle bracelets which can be kept hidden under your socks or pant legs. You can buy either karat gold or cheap base metal pendant bezels you can insert bullion coins into and have them attached to your bracelet or necklace chains too, damage/wear shouldn't be a problem if you're not wearing them constantly for months straight and you'd likely get top dollar for those if your jewelry is typically bought at discount wherever you're traveling.

>haven't even broken even lmao

Imagine not enjoying an instant ROI whenever one adds to the stack, it really must suck to be retarded like (You).

>Shouldn't people be mostly buying NEW silver?

Nah that's misguided plebbitor silver-squeeze/drain the coomex cope. Retail buying old coins or new bars has minimal effect on the spot market, it will be industry and institutional investors/ETFs hoovering up thousands of 1000oz ingots. My argument is that by hoarding secondary market or scrap silver you remove potential supply to refineries which make comex bars or bullion to other stackers and force others to buy new bullion to meet their own stacking goals, ultimately what us plebs choose to stack doesn't really influence anything. Buy whatever has the perfect blend of price, liquidity and personal appeal.

>the label says 4oz, package weighs in at 12oz. also picrel confirms i got nogged by a dindu. (it was "stuck" in Chicago for a week)
Very interesting, thanks for the update anon. I find it strange that they bothered putting anything back inside the parcel, normally robbed mailers just show up completely empty. Might have been a newly hired niglet untrained in the art of nogging.

such is life as a scrapchad

>Tomorrow, there's a bunch of flea markets I'm going to try and find silver in

Be sure to look for sterling silver cheapies in addition to standard coin/bullion, nothing cures a case of the blues better than sub-$1/oz silver.

This anon goes around buying junk sterling silverware and thinks he’s actually buying legitimate sterling silver and making a killing. What he doesn’t realize is that virtually 99% of all sterling silver plateware since the invention of electroplating in the early 1900’s is just plated sterling silver. Everybody laughs at him.
