Just market brought 8k worth of BTC was this a mistake or the right move

Hello all!

I’m relatively new to crypto investing and I figured a good way to develop a better understanding of it would be to immerse myself in forums like these and on reddit so I’m not out of the loop.

I just bought myself two bitcoins and a handful of ethereums in anticipation of this next run up.

So what should I expect? Links to any additional resources are appreciated.
