Yeah some places are shit. Some are actual gems.

Wanted to finally work on a beach in a hammock next to my beach hut.
Wanted to see the culture (temples, etc.)
Wanted to taste the real food.
Wanted to see how poverty and westernisation works together.
Wanted to see the walking streets with trannies and hoes without fucking them.

To each his own, anon.

I'm not from a very rich country and the university is considered as a lower quality one, but I wanted to get that Bachelor's degree just to be safe and to prove to my parents I'm not a degenerate.

As for Upwork, it's only an option for beginners, because as you said yourself the "best" get about $25/hour which is crazy.

Think of it this way - if you're writing an entire funnel (landing page, emails, video scripts, checkout page, etc.) for a product that will generate $100K/week, it's not inappropriate for you to ask for $4k down-payment plus 10% from total sales.

Of course, you do have to have knowledge and experience to sell that product, but deals like this are common in decent circles unlike Upwork lol.

Join "The Cult of Copy" and see for yourself, it was a breath of fresh air to me after Upwork.

If someone posts that they're looking for a writer and the pay is below $15/hour they get laughed at an mocked - it's really amazing and inspiring.

You can scale writing by taking in new clients who agree to pay more and cutting off the bottom ones who can no longer manage with your fees. There are always people who value quality and results and they pay well for it.

If you pay peanuts expects monkeys.

So, if that sounds at all interesting to you... I believe there are only 5 reasons why anyone would ever procrastinate. Here are the 5 and how to knock them out. I'm not doing any headlines here so people don't skim this post... the value is in the paragraphs, not in the headlines. I don't want you to skim and go "one two three four five, nothing new here." If you're still procrastinating, this thread CAN help you. Skimming it can not.

The first reason you procrastinate is that you're not motivated properly. Yes motivation. Tony Robbins hates that word. "I'm not a motivational speaker, that's never been what I was about." Most self help guys hate that word. But only because of the stigma. Without motivation, you're nothing. And motivation needs to come from your gut. It needs to be a deep emotion that drives you NUTS.

The way to fix this one is to make a note every time you feel this motivation. We all feel it from time to time, momentarily. For a fleeting moment, we feel a deep desire for something we want. For the briefest of moments, we really, really want it. Maybe it's a girl that's currently out of your league, a car, or any other thing that stirs you up inside. But the emotion passes, you forget and lose the motivation as quickly as it came. Write down what triggered it. Collect these things, then read through the list every day in the morning. The one that most triggers you that day, put it in a timer and make it pop up on your screen every 10 minutes. I'm not kidding.
