I thought about making a Troon coin awhile back, but I’m afraid it’ll just rope in a few years.

When people say "sell the news" it's not like they're gonna see the news and think "okay time to sell now" robotically, so how long do you think the window will be? How much pumping before it dips/corrects?

I don't really buy anything I don't need.

I always keep 6 months of paychecks in my savings account.

I invest any funds once my checking account is over $5k, into whatever my next goal is (stocks, crypto, bonds, PMs, etc.) Or, I'll just keep it in cash, but move it to a brokerage account.

Once a year I do a personal balance sheet of every single asset and liability I have and calculate the value (using Microsoft excel).

The easiest thing to do is just add up all of your monthly bills and subtract them from your monthly net income OP. If you want to increase your total cash leftover at the end of the month. Look through your expenses and see what you should be cutting out (instead of buying the $5 coffee at Starbucks, make your own coffee at home, etc.).

These are the generic, retarded responses you should expect from people that don't put any actual thought into anything.

People can be both hard working and frugal and still be poor. Simultaneously, there are plenty of people that are rich that barely work at all and blow money like drunken sailors.

I took an edible today and just sat in an empty baseball park in the back of the woods. Just sat there for an hour with my friend, chillin.

Pretty chill.

Nothing but the sounds of nature and a small highway in the far distance.

I'm home now. I'm gonna grab a beer, or maybe some wine.

What are you guys up to?

I don't think so, but it's always been the model I think made the most sense. Plus, it gives more power back to the people (cliché term, I know), since if the government raised the taxes too high, people would just stop spending money and start saving it, starving the government of its revenue. Government would be forced to find a sweet spot where people would still be willing to spend on luxury goods.

Of course, I'd abolish the Federal Reserve and allow a decentralized banking system to come back in. So, the government would be forced to borrow from the private sector in a competitive bond market, instead of just having "free" money from the FED (I'm not going to get into whether the FED is actually private or not).

Banks could back their currency with whatever they want frankly, I wouldn't care. Gold, Bitcoin, a basket of commodities, whatever.

Of course, this is all a fantasy dream. But, it's fun to think through it.

I made 3 iOS apps so far and I make like 50 bucks a month from that. So far I spent more on my accountant in total than I ever earned from selling apps.

But honestly it's still comfy and maybe at a certain point I will break a profit.
