No this was retarded debt. I don't have any student debt either, luckily my parents were smart enough to sign me up for FL Prepaid as a kid so I graduated debt free.

Here's how it happened:

>retarded 21 year old about to finish college and start first job
>return offer from startup I interned at in-hand
>had great idea for a small SAAS product
>spent entire second semester of senior year developing it
>my job didn't start until july 1st, I graduated in april
>"I'm just going to spend all of my time launching/scaling this software because why not
>get my sign on bonus (not huge and I needed that cash to get set up in an apartment and move across the country, wasn't going to ask my parents for help)
>apply for high limit CC with 12 months of 0 interest
>dump the ENTIRE balance over the course of 3 months into VERY poorly-targeted FB and YT ads (I created the video to go along with them, and they did not go very well)
>incredibly low conversion rate
>was able to get to about 2.2k MRR
>churn was massively high and I couldn't afford to run the business properly AND pay off the debt I had accrued
>had to slowly but surely take the salary I made from my job and use that (plus almost all of my revenue) to chip away at that balance
>couldn't really date during this whole time
>lived on a shoestring budget
>didn't want to touch my crypto stack since I knew I was not accruing interest
>12 month zero-interest deal came to end end in februrary, had finally gotten my balance down to nearly 0
>got paid today
>finally paid the last bit off.

So the good news is I now have a slightly profitable business and I have greatly approved my marketing efficacy and my conversion rate is much higher, but good god was that a retarded mistake. If I had tried that on a regular credit card charging 25-50% interest I would be so so so fucked right now.

What the hell am I gonna write on my CV regarding poker/gaming for money/crypto and analysing&investing? How do I explain the gaps in my CV, like no work or 'wasting' 3 years in uni? Is my voluntary work and my recent side job enough to get noticed? How do I grab recruiters' attention with my CV? Any tips on writing a cover letter?
