Idk what to do for an exit.

Ive been holding gme for two years. Every peak i was like "am i gonna take this peak", but no. Got into BBBY half a year ago. Saw the $15, i asked "am i gonna take this peak", but no. Could have reinvested in bbby two days later for 2-3x more shares.

Now im wondering what i would do in a scenario where BBBY is pumping. Its at $17, same question again: "should i sell?". No, again? When it reaches $48? Etc.

I wonder, what if the schizos are right - that this shit will go to $800? So, should i sit there and hold past $150, what if im made bagholder again? I dont know how to exit, how to think. Is there any practical guide to this?

Just truncate my total holding in ten portions and unload during runup, or what?

Questions:
1. In an M&A announcement, do they also specify compensation for shareholders?
2. Is taking this deal obligatory,
3. When is it actually executed?
4. When do shorts have to close in relation to an upcoming M&A?
