I think you are right about DXY - either 90 gets broken or we have the dollar bounce and drag down equities
I'm pretty sure that Yellen gave an interview in the last month where she said that she wanted the dollar to be stronger, so I wouldn't be surprised.. I could be wrong though, maybe that wasn't Yellen. I remember Mannarino saying something along those lines.
The GME/AMC fallout I think is much more serious than is being let on.. the public thinks it was a "hedge funds told them to stop selling those stocks as they were losing money" when in reality it's a much bigger liquidity crisis facing equity settlement..
It makes no sense to me. The Fed has created $4 trillion in the last year. Banks have no reserve requirements whatsoever. Where is all the money going? How can we be facing a liquidity crisis in settlement? How are we that overextended?
