25 year old boomer here. I went to one of the best business school's in my country. I have a double degree in accounting and economics. I'm currently doing my masters in finance.

Your business knowledge comes from meme pop non-fiction books and youtube videos. The people you discuss things on /biz/ with are the same as you.

This isn't a thread for me to brag, it's a help thread. Because someone needs to tell you the blunt truth: you don't know what you are talking about, and the people you are talking to about business don't know what they are talking about.

Your youtube-tier knowledge of economics has you believe that there *is* an overwhelming reason to distrust the status quo, particularly fiat currencies. Either you think that fiat is about to utterly collapse, or that it is a product of a global high-level conspiracy to steal things of value from people by convincing them to trade them for worthless pieces of paper.

Neither of these things are true.

Fiat is inherently valuable, and is real money. There is zero risk of a doomsday economic meltdown.

You are literally throwing your money away if you are putting it in something that is waiting in the wings to replace fiat (e.g. crypto or bullion), because fiat is the best form of money ever invented and its here to stay.

OK, thanks. Had to get that off my chest.
