Leftism/liberalism is the cult. They have doctrines that can't be questioned, they use lies and deceit to keep people in, they use social ostracization for people who try leave, they attack, cancel, dox or even hurt/kill people who oppose them and they have authoritative high priests on TV which every cultist must parrot without question.

These people can't scrutinize information for validity themselves, and must rely on a third party to make the assessment for them. They completely outsource their thinking to their pharisees on TV.

It's because conservatives tend to be more logic based. They plan ahead, they think things through, etc. Way more grounded in reality.

Liberals are emotion based. Very easy to manipulate, no coherent moral framework. They are like a cult, truth to them is not something that is objective irregardless of where it comes from. Truth to a liberal is whatever their perceived authority tells them. Like late night hosts or their most trusted media outlet, whether it be Vice, Oprah, CNN or Jimmy Kimmel.
