When lego did their own spinoff characters that resembled pop culture figures (i.e. Johnny Thunder as Indiana Jones) it was awesome. Pic rel was the set I played with for countless hours as a kid. I remember it being bigger and more elaborate in hindsight but I guess that's just my childhood mind at work.

The old Lego sets had so much more going on in them.
