this extends to other shit as well, no one enjoys sifting through a bunch of chinese third-party sellers to find what they need. The fact that you even have to be worried about counterfeit items on amazon is frustrating as fuck
Bed bath beyond, Wayfair, Chewy, all these specialty retailers came to dominance because amazon is shit for niche crap

dont fucking get me wrong, this isn't about some retarded bull like Amazon vs Gamestop. This is about Amazon's core business being so behind that they're basically fighting to keep their dominance nowadays as everyone else is running into e-commerce out of necessity. The only reason you'd still be in Amazon is because you're bullish on AWS. Their core business itself has lost its advantage the moment they couldn't do same-day delivery anymore on most shit
