Everyone on here and on other boards loves saying this, but nobody can ever actually explain why. You doomers just post pictures of trannies and things like that and vaguely say 'oh this will crash the system.' Doomers never even say what exactly 'collapse' means. Will the power go out? Will everyone just drop dead? Why will any of this happen? They never have any real answers and they never even really have any firm predictions. Sure you can say "all past empires have eventually collapsed" but it's not like Rome just turned into Mad Max one day. And that's not really an impressive prophecy, that's like saying "one day in the future I will die."

i know nothing about finance or investing.
im wondering if i can make more on my own trading stocks than a cs career, which will peak in like 10 years at something around 3-400k / year.
