what's the problem with governance tokens? it's a decentralized protocol, so it makes sense that decisions for it, like the assets, etc will be made in a decentralized way. they are not memes, look at how successful AAVE and UNI are. arbitrage is just pic related, it's not that complex/hard to understand why it will be profitable

RSV is pegged to $1 initially, then to whatever value the basket of assets that back it are worth
RSR is used to arbitrage RSV whenever it goes off of it's peg, and also as a governance token for the Reserve protocol.
It's not "1 RSR = 1 RSV" it's "1 RSV = X RSR", depending on the price of both of them. If 1 RSV is $1 and 1 RSR is $1, then you simply arbitrage .5 RSR. read the whitepaper, listen to Nevin AMA/lectures, and DYOR.

2. All the app users want to get actual usd and sell, RSV goes down
3. Protocol sells the backing currencies to buy RSV
4. Backing currencies go down
5. Vault ratio is now bad since the backing currencies have depreciated
6. The protocol mints and sells rsr to buy more backing currency
7. If the backing currency starts to recover, the protocol sells RSV for rsr to arbers
8. Arbers have some shit running to immediately sell, pushing RSV down again
9. Return to 3 and cycle until everything is fucked and the tower of tether collapses

If the USD ever collapses and we have a currency reset do you really think people will put their wealth into something that is speculative?

During a MAJOR economic crisis, people are not looking to put money into what they see as a risky asset (crypto)

In the next 5-10 years we will see the rise of decentralized stablecoins and imo RSV is a nearly perfect solution. Not to mention the CIA connections they have.
