Well the European banks are stocking gold and equalizing gold holdings between them all. They seem to believe its a way to get off the USD leash. And you don't sit on miners for commodities you spend a decade shorting via derivatives.

Debt trap is locked in now. The dollar must die, and whatever replaces it will have to be backed by something real.

Reminder that the Torah requires the Hebrews to enact a debt jubilee every 50 years, and that our currency has been debt ever since Nixon 'temporarily' removed the gold peg on the USD in 1971. My tinfoil senses are tingling about what our monetary policy will look like in 2021. Is that the year of the fabled PM backed reset?

Anyone have juicy insights regarding who exactly JP Morgan has been stockpiling silver for and why? SchizoFoil frogposter's notions about a silver backed Western monetary union balancing an eastern gold backed currency were mighty interesting, but now people like David Morgan are hinting at the idea that JPM is just a front and hoarding on behalf of either China or the US gov't, latter being most likely.

What could be going on behind the scenes? Is a silver backed CBDC actually possible? More mundane reasons, like projected military/defense requirements for silver this century seem more superficially likely but the obvious and impending need for some sort of stable trustworthy money to eventually replace this cluster is an important consideration.

Anyone have thoughts or more info on the matter?
