Thanks man, I try not to shill too much but I do want anons to know about it. And I picked up a lot of my skills just playing around while getting my CS degree but you definitely don't need one to make websites. I just got a broad exposure to a bunch on languages and classes that made learning a bit quicker. I'd say pick up some javascript experience too as ruby will only help you with the backend stuff, which is still valuable though. I would suggest learning pure JS though before moving on to jquery or react because it will give you a better understanding of what you're doing. And for webdev stuff learning how to interact with the DOM is a must. Mozilla has some great documentation on it.

I had a CRO monthly earn ladder maturing 1 week apart. Tomorrow I am 50% out with 2 more weeks to go. Totally out of my hands now but have to admit I'm bailing as soon as I can on them to finally have some more control.
