Besides, the story is essentially about modern day Jesus (Jim Caviezel) going around doing the will of his Father and protecting innocent and even not-so-innocent people.

lol I have first hand experience of it when I was a big WoW player back in highschool
our guild leader (we were a top guild on our server) was falsely arrested by the FBI and eventually won a lawsuit against them for wrongfully detaining him and keeping him in isolation for 3 days without food or water
there's more to it than that, but it reminded me a lot of the plot of the movie "A Scanner Darkly"
