The standard Bitcuck response is either "cope" or "duh Tether Truther". Those who try a little more earnestly will invoke the BDO Italia attestation hoping you won't realize its not a proper audit and that Tether still hasn't proven it prints fully backed USDT.

Deep down I suspect many know Tether is shady as fuck and that BTC is a house of cards that will inevitably implode some day, they just expect/hope they'll have cashed out by the time that happens. Some folks just gotta learn the hard way.
