Pay interest on the stocks not being returned after enough time passes, but its new interest which you dont allow time to compound, because you're letting another spike happen, which causes the normies FOMO in again to drive the prices, where you can open new shorts, wait for them to tire out, and then collect their panic selling bags again to close the oldest shorts.
