The Spanish Flu that killed 25% of the world population 100 years ago most likely originated from China because while the rest of the world were dying China was somewhat unaffected. It's theorized that they had already gone through it several years before and the population had developed immunity. To debunk this in 2010 China claimed that it was simply due to the traditional Chinese medicine.
