Is shilling my gf on crypto a good idea if she wants to make passive income?

We're currently living abroad and she can't work while we're here for the next year or so. She has only ~$2000 in savings, but I was thinking about getting her into crypto herself so she can make some passive income and also be interested in something. Anyone have any experience shilling this stuff to womens?
