[YouTube] Federal Reserve Is On The Brink Of Bankruptcy (Here's Proof) (embed)
pretty sure this guy is a goldbug
but his claims seem reasonable, according to him and his new york fed friend they are going to basically print to pay for the loss
but more importantly if fed remittances to the treasury are negative
doesn't that mean that effect on m2 is positive?
like if they buy bonds at 100 then sell at 95, 5 is left in M2 permanently
at any rate the rate hikes actually seriously hurt their ability to contract M2 ironically, because they are also paying out higher rates in the RRP, which increases M2
if they had kept rates low and aggressively sold their balance sheet off it would contract M2 by trillions
so why did they start rape hiking in the first place?
what did darth powell mean by this?
