theres real world consequences to failure that arent always recoverable, be weary of anyone saying 'just go for it!' or to blindly chase your dreams
always have a financial safety net, for most itll be family but if you dont have intergenerational backup, make sure you always have some tradable skill to fall back on no matter what happens.

its easy when youre young to believe theres an infinite amount of time in the future waiting for you, that things can always be put off until another day, that we will always have future time for recovery if things dont pan out. inevitably however you'll reach a point when that is no longer true.
learn something useful when youre young, could be a degree that wont have its market value expire or a trade the world will always need, just get at least one thing under your belt and for the rest of your life you can take every imaginable risk your heart desires.
