I go to University of Waterloo. (Unfortunately) it is not as well known as elite US unis, but you have to understand that all the Leafs who are good at CS have Waterloo as their top choice. Rejects tend to go to University of Toronto. More than half the graduating class end up going to a big tech company in Silicon Valley (ex. FAANG). According to https://qz.com/967985/silicon-valley-companies-like-apple-aapl-hires-the-most-alumni-of-these-10-universities-and-none-of-them-are-in-the-ivy-league/, Waterloo is ahead of MIT for Silicon Valley hires, and FAR ahead any other Canadian university (and I suspect that it's doing even better now three years after the article was posted).

A good chunk of people in the CS program are geniuses and have literal autism. Despite that, a lot of classes have averages in the 60-70s. Now, if we are to believe the people that supposedly knew him - https://www.reddit.com/r/uwaterloo/comments/7o53zm/have_anyone_met_vitalik_buterin_on_campus_before/ - his average was close to 100 (before dropping out after receiving $100K from Peter Thiel). If that really was the case then he's unironically far smarter than Bill Gates or any other tech millionaire/billionaire.
