I didn't like the taste of mushrooms...in fact I was always disgusted about the idea of eating ANY mushrooms because I associated them with bathroom fungus or mold internally. But after trying magic mushrooms...I decided to cook with mushrooms. Now I want mushrooms in almost every meal. Those damn things control your mind, I tell ya. Just today I had mushroom soup. Literally boiling a bunch of different mushrooms and some veggies for a bit, salt to taste and a few drops of olive oil for some body. Finish with a very small amount of spy sauce and fresh garlic minced (don't let it cook with the broth, throw it into the bowl so it has its fresh zing still) and I swear it's the fucking food of the gods. I love mushrooms.
