If you want to get into biotech I highly suggest following martin shkreli.
His fav stock currently is NTLA, a CRISPR gene editing company

I'd never put 2K into just one play though, learn to dig trough pipelines and balance sheets like martin and spread your money out on some plays. Also I'd advise not to buy biotechs at ATH, unless if they got solid revenue and more stuff in pipe
