Were you part of the conversation about the deflationary spiral yesterday? US savings rates were setting records, and the pent-up demand is real. It's a big problem if people continue to save instead of spend.

I think this is largely pent up demand, people who had been putting off buying a new mattress or visiting the dentist are suddenly all going out at once. They now know it's possible that these things could shut down, and they don't want to risk being forced to wait again.

I'm going to be watching this:
