it's not that surprising. turns out life in this universe is pretty shitty once your brain evolves enough to the point where you realize there is no God and life is inherently objectively meaningless. we were born into this world on accident, we'll suffer despite not choosing this, and we'll die despite not getting a say in that either, no matter what we do or how healthy we live, it doesn't matter. none of this matters.

the only thing that keeps me going is living for my family so they aren't sad and because my life is moderately comfy. take that away and honestly it's just not worth it, and i'd be glad to get off this gay earth and go back to not existing, which thus far seems to be a 2/10 at best. and we're humans, mind you, the most advanced species, and im a relatively high IQ person and white and a straight man on top of all that. and i still wouldn't recommend existing. imagine if you were one of the many kinds of plants and animals that get eaten all the fucking time. eaten alive. have you ever seen a praying mantis eat a hummingbird? imagine being that hummingbird. no poison, no anaesthetic numbing effect. literally just grabs you and starts chewing.
