I still think Blue Lagoon has potential, but their just kind of stuck with how things are. They havent found what they were obviously looking for, the material the old timers were digging around after back in the 20s and 50s, but their still at it drilling away and working on a permit. Of course it might be the wrong time in general for them to try and actually bring their mine into operation anyway, loads of other new start up mines in the province have stalled due to the way the market is, it might be best for them to just keep quietly plugging away at Dome Mountain until things pick up.

I just wish there was a way to get the small scale mines back in the hands of the general public instead of having the mega conglomerates claiming them all up than letting them rot. Its a lot of work digging a mine but if the grades high enough a small crew can make a descent profit.
