If it's in your Metamask wallet then it should still be ERC-20 Wrapped Luna? The old Luna AKA LUNC can't be stored in Metamask, have to use something like Terra Station instead.

Would you say it is completely out of the question that WLUNA is pegged to the new LUNA? Is it impossible? Both those questions can be answered with no.

Let's see what happens at the end of the month, and at the end of May as well. There's no harm in holding a stack of WLUNA.

Yeah, nevermind. From my cursory info search, I can only recall that the latest we heard was that WLUNA is tied to LUNA, so who knows if that means 2UNA or LUNC, but the price action on Coinbase implies LUNC despite the fact it sells for a bit higher compared to LUNC sometimes.

Apparently WLUNA/WLUNC is pegged to LUNA by name, not contact address. That's why the contract is such a big deal.
