If Russell 2k funds don't see redemptions today and IMKTA finishes positive, these index funds will be forced to buy into very low liquidity end of day and will start moving the price up
Basically this trade is using index funds (which own so much of the company there isn't any real float) as a gamma squeeze, which will trigger a short squeeze as the short sellers don't realize that they are short >30% of the float, not 12% of the float
Regardless the shorts are still 16 days to cover
