>Banks exist
Until they don't.
There have been a few wallet hacks in the past, I'll admit, but we're late stage to that arena. If MetaMask held your data anywhere at all, you'd have heard about a massive hack by now. The most likely hack would be a browser hack but even then, you can't restore an account without a passphrase to even attempt to hack it, which isn't stored anywhere.
Metamask doesn't have 50 Indians on call to scam your identity with. They don't have bills for some asshole to sort through to get enough of your information to try and they don't have greedy upper management idiots willing to dump the company for profit until it falls apart.
If anything is a scam, it's the establishment seeding your mind with the idea that this free, community-made industry isn't legitimate. It's no less legitimate than running Linux instead of Windows and like my OS, my funds are freer than yours.

>35
>divorced from an unfaithful cunt I spent 15 years with
>she can't bear kids so no kids
>taking care of my 70+yo mom
>landed a job fixing forklifts
>lost 80lbs
>spend all of my time playing Stalker and TF2, working, taking mom to appointments and doctors visits, cookouts and hangouts with my cousins, getting flirted with in bars
>throw all of my expendable income in investments and crypto
>made about 15% thusfar
>even if my mom dies, my pay btfo's the fuck out of a one bedroom apartment where I live so I'm not worried about the future.
There are worse fates.
It's not that a change wouldn't be beneficial, I'm just glad I'm not my ex. She's a fat, impulsive idiot and will be alone for the rest of her life.

You haven't lost anything if you don't sell.
I thought fiat didn't matter anyway. Don't you guys believe in the technology?

>revolutionary technology
Debatable
>Send anonymous sums of money
Debatable, and only certain chains.
>Totally independent of ang centralized institution
How does the money get in and out?
>allows for the complete decentralization of all things finance, identity and communication
Wrong on all three
embarrassingly so.

If crypto is so revolutionary then why doesn't /g/ ever have threads about it beyond calling it a scam? Why isn't anyone going to college for crypto studies? Why aren't IT companies hiring blockchain developers?
Nothing

Month-trading works ok.

There isn't any. Crypto exists as a scam to get idiots to spend their money, wherein chads like me wait for decent gains and take off and run with it.
It's a total scam. Never DCA, never hold, never "believe in the technology" (lmao). Buy dips, fill your bags with idiot money and get out. Do it as many times as you like. They never learn.

NFTs were a good idea for an actual fucking artist to individually license and sell individual pieces of art.
Bored Apes skirted this notion by making endless variations on the same artwork, thereby effectively inflating the price of their own product.
If Bored Apes was a series of 50, limited to 50, sold out at 50, and a new series was begun, Bored Apes would be a rare and lucrative hold.
But no, there's thousands of them, hundreds of thousands of copies of the same fucking ape.
The same can be said for any other commoditized NFT. The business of crypto, not the business of copyright as was intended, was used on the NFT market.
Had it been what it originally was meant to be, NFTs would be the digital signature an artist could apply to their work to mark it as legitimate.

1. Link isn't in the same level of horseshit as ICP
2. Link has a dedicated and active dev team and crew that effectively support it on your behalf.
This is all the help I'm giving you.

This is also bad news for AAVE.
Why aren't they being held liable?
Why aren't they shitting themselves thinking this could happen to another USD stablecoin?
Curious.

BRICS countries are fascist charades of success and progress when it's really mostly just poor people with guns to their heads, smiling for the dictator who reports false claims about his own economy while the needle drops.

India is just siding with the people it doesn't want to be invaded by. I'm pretty sure they don't really like you, or their situation at all. Who's really giving them a choice?

Luckily for everyone here, you don't have to report losses if you never turn a profit.
