I have 12k in an Ally saving account. The interest rate was 1.25% but they dropped it to 0.6%

I hate this. The 12k gives me 6+ months living expensiveness and keeps me from trading emotionally, because even if I get laid off I don't have to sell my labor to the first jew who agrees. But I fucking hate that I have 12k sitting being gnawed on by the hungry wolves of inflation with a measly 12 dollars a month to slow them down an unnoticeable amount. I hate that my fiat is literally rotting before my eyes. Please tell me there is some better way to just lock up 12k to at least match inflation. Pic related, Fiat in a nutshell.
