you're kind of right. I don't see these technologies having profound effects before the end of this boom bust cycle. Many businesses have learned, but many also have not. since the indexes, and think this is what i was first speculating on, are comprised of these winners and losers, the index will get dragged by losers and held up by winners for a while. stagnation until the debt situation cools and starts to resolve.
