Overly good figures would mean more inflation and robust economy and that would affect market expection of the number of rate hikes

imo, the FED will stick to their plan through thick and thin.

I think outstanding NFP figures would be bad for bonds and vice-versa for bad figures. What is currently priced in is good NFP figures.
