Ive gone from 4.3 btc to 2.4 btc day-trading every single day for the past 4 months

I had 4.35 Bitcoin and Ive lost almost half of it so far doubling, tripling and quadtripling down on shorts in this 3 month rally

been around since 2016, made some great trades from the alpha here (xrp at 0.03, Link at .55, btc at $700) I didn’t have to work for a while and just traded. used all my money to get my business going, earning 150k/year was doing well. the pandemic fucked me after my strongest year. Survived off of savings thinking I’d recover after the pandemic. anyways, just officially over drafted my bank account. Credit cards are maxed. Owe the irs $180k (didn’t report all the crypto gains, they caught me with penalties).

Anyways, enough with the pity party and looking for actionable advice where to go from here... I have places to stay so I’m not on the streets, can get by on stealing ramen from 7-11. I spent my late 20’ / early 30’s being a degen. I have no job experience or references aside from my failed business.

What do I do now? Try and go back to school or just call it quits and work at McDonald’s although my massive debt will prob strangle me. If no career/money advice, what kind of knee pads do you suggest?

The most frustrating part of all of this is how government officials act like this was unexpected. IT'S LITERALLY ALL ANYONE TALKED ABOUT ONCE THE MONEY PRINTER WAS TURNED ON. The feigned ignorance is insane.
You can't just print your way out of a crisis, and the chickens are coming home to roost. I hope people are able to keep their jobs, the layoffs are already starting as companies look for ways to cut costs.
