It's hard to tell what these big invincible companies can actually do.

Say you assume collusion between the market entities, but stop at say government-level collusion.

Assume a bunch of mega-rich fucks who all depend on each other are colluding to maintain the status quo, but not to the point where they are paying off the govt to get away with it.

They are so rich they can eat lawsuits for breakfast, pay virtually any fine, and throw people under the bus for jail time. But i would feel unrealistic where they have the govt/SEC helping them get away with it. They might be able to pressure the govt/SEC to look the other way to some degree since they have lobbying power, but not to actually go full corrupt.

What could they achieve under these rules?

you need to try new things, get outside of your comfort zone

people have a midlife crisis because they had poor values

the values give you reason to live: motivation, drive, energy, inspiration, hope, joy etc

people whose values are a big house a nice car a hot wife etc have midlife crises when they finally attain all those things.. now what?

you need to readjust your values. you've been living to get rich. now youre rich. now what? your life purpose has been to make the number grow, and now you've made it grow

what will you do now? think of your heirarchy of values like a shelf. money was at the top of the shelf, now you're rich, it's fallen lower down. what else is on the shelf?

if you cant think of anything then you need to try new things. values come through experience, and experience alone. you cant read about values. you need to physically go and try things until you find something that gives you the spark again.

remember: motivation comes AFTER you do something, not before. don't wait to be motivated, don't wait to be inspired.

money is just one thing that makes up your life, it was one thing that inspired you, but now that you have it you are experiencing diminishing returns. now it's time to find something new.

you are living a very sheltered and safe life right now, you need to get up and force yourself to go out and try something new. go on a hike, ride a bike, join a gym, interact with people and find things you didnt know you enjoyed. go skydiving, do things that make you feel again. you wont know if you will like it until you try it.

you've made it in one aspect of your life anon, but there are many things that are a part of living and existence.

enjoy your wealth and use it to live a happier, fuller life.
