Buy ETH and stake it on an exchange when that's released. It's basically a passive income for life.

imagine the absolute cope from people who sold at 950 to "take profits". We're going to hear non-stop FUD from them and the BTC maxies as we break a new ATH.

That's cute.

Ethereum isn't based in the US, though. It's Russian, so your Jewish laws can go fuck themselves.

Why would you gamble on shit coins, or buy BTC at an ATH, when you can just buy ETH at a fraction of its ATH and gain a guaranteed 15% APY in a deflationary (EIP-1559) asset by having an exchange stake for you?

Worst case, ETH moves up and down with the price of BTC, but with an extra 15% gains per year. It just doesn't make sense to buy anything else, unless you REALLY want to lose everything chasing some pump and dump pajeet coin or are some BTC maxi.

I've gotten my first 6 figure job with a fortune 500 company, and I haven't done anything but 2-3 hours of meetings and emails a day for something like 3 weeks. Everything's moving in geological time... still haven't gotten my first assignment. I'm getting paid over $500 a day to do basically nothing.

Note that everyone in my department is Indian. At this point, I honestly think I'm a diversity hire, so they can't say they don't hire white men.

Is this normal? I want to do engineering work... I'm an expert in my field.

i have about $100K to throw at this, plus my salary is $140K from my wage slave job.

i'm willing to pay an artist a really good salary to make the game look good, so the suggestion is to do that before paying for advertising?

my thought was to focus on gameplay, and make the game as fun as theoretically possible, focusing on game design 100%. i didn't feel the graphics would matter much, but i guess i was wrong there? heavily influenced by roguelikes, which focus entirely on gameplay and have shit tilesets.

Real inflation (in terms of living costs) is at 5%, and the 2% number comes from the dropping costs of electronics. So 7% a year from stocks is really 2% a year, which gets wiped out in taxes.

As an aside, silver is also a scam, since there's endless amounts of unrefined silver that's produced while mining gold. The nanosecond it's worth refining (it's currently not worth it), the market will be flooded when the refineries turn back on.

The only good investments are gold, bitcoin, and ether. Also, good luck getting gold without a ridiculous markup, and even if you do, there's a sales tax (both buying and selling) and a cap gains tax that wipe out any gains regardless.

I started working as a software developer at 26. I'm 31 now and I make $90K. Should I just lie on my resume and add 5 years of experience, so it look like I started work at 22?

I'm as good as anyone else on my team at what I do, and I'm pretty sure in a few years I could pass as an engineer with 10+ years experience for the next job.

I'm seeing a head and shoulders on the S&P 500.... I know TA is mostly bullshit but seeing that pattern at the top of the longest bull run in history has me a bit worried.

Stocks are going to continue these unprecedented weekly gains forever, and everyone who tossed $5 into Apple last year is going to be a trillionaire soon, right?

Starting to feel a bit skeptical but everyone's saying the economy is doing well.

eth is the only long term viable coin, though btc will probably exist for the next 20 years as a settlement layer for exchange to exchange transactions on LN, because no one would want to pay the transaction fee and wait time to deposit to their wallet (opening a channel takes just as long as a single transaction to a wallet).

That's presuming the absolute best case for LN, by the way... right now you have to be always online to use it and it finds paths by brute forcing NP-hard problems; that has to change.

Honestly, because of pos/sharding world, I see eth as the better long term investment.

this is bait because crypto predated this board and crypto has always been, and will continue to be, the best possible investment.

"when will this board go back to not being about crypto" easily outs you as a newfag, and is generally used as bait, but in this case i honestly think you're a newfag so i'm just letting you know.

sure, there are 95% drops, like when bitcoin dropped from $20 to $1, but it always recovers to a new ATH.

when people are saying crypto is dead, despite the tech getting better and better every year, you know it's the time to buy for 1000x gains.

as an aside, but ETH, not BTC. ETH has been leading the recovery, has the best tech, and even stuff like DPOS can be built on top of ETH as a side chain so there's really no point of having your own chain like EOS is doing.

As for private chains, paying the transaction fees for life is cheaper than paying a dev for a year, and you can still keep centralized control of your coin by building it on top of ETH by just writing your contract as such.

We are at peak opportunity cost for crypto and you want to buy stocks while they are at peak risk... lol

there's a multi-trillion dollar market that's made completely irrelevant due to crypto, and as such, is rapidly losing market cap to crypto.

and you're calling the entire thing a bubble because of crazy +-50% volitility on the way up as big investment banks and hedge funds buy in. ok.

i dont buy the "keep all the fork coins" strategy. what if eth flips btc because of this shit show, once casper starts eating coins and eth hyperdeflates? what happens to bch then?

i think btc dying will be good for crypto.
