I graduated college a year ago and got a good job at a fortune 500 company. I was getting close to 125k per year. I figured if i invested in the S&P i could retire earlier than everyone else because the market has been going up. You're really investing in America by investing in the S&P and I believed America under Trump was strong.

I put in 35k initially and i turned it into 50k in a few weeks so i decided to get a 100k loan. Everything was going great, that 100k turned into 125k, a years income earned in a few weeks.

After today, i've lost everything. My shares have devalued so much its hurtful.

I think this is it, im going to end myself. Life without money is meaingless and a waste of time, i'd rather die than be a poor person.

I'm off /biz/. If you're in New York, look out for people jumping off buildings. Ill be one of them soon.
