appreciate the advice anons. I might try to get him into Reserve Rights or Hashgraph or (my personal new favorites FinNexus and Mandala). I sat down with a pen and paper and showed him how flash loan attacks worked, just because I thought he'd find it interesting, but I might have scared him out of investing in DeFi by mistake (which he was prepared to put 4-5 figures of USDC into when I showed him Aave's stablecoin APYs). On the other hand by doing that I reinforced how ChainLink prevents such attacks by distributing the price data so that a market manipulator can't fuck the exchange rates with his flash loan.

IDK bros what projects would you shill your parents? As an upper-middle-class college student I feel like I don't have the resources myself to make it this cycle but if I carefully leverage reputation and trust with my parents I may reach that mark.
