If you can read then you should probably see this. might change your mind on the ultimate dilemma facing crypto these days:

1a. AMPL can be viewed as creating an open market spot price for the U.S. Dollar (specifically the 2019 CPI adjusted U.S. Dollar). It is not actually backed by dollars and they do not force the market price to be $1, they simply nudge it that way through supply changes.
1b. xBTC can be viewed as creating an open market spot price for Bitcoin Dominance. We convert Bitcoin Dominance (currently 58.7%) to a spot price: 58.7 cents. Our token is not actually backed by every single altcoin or Bitcoin, it just nudges the market towards Bitcoin Dominance through supply changes.
